Building a new home made simple
The team at J2 Homes NZ believe making the building process simple is the way to make it enjoyable for customers.
The Waihi-based business offers three different building options: full contract homes, transportables and kitsets homes.
Owner Jason Duckworth says he is always available to sit down with people and talk about their building project. "We want them to feel how easy it can be to construct and manage the build of their new home," says Jason.
Jason can provide the key information customers require to ensure they are making the best decision for them. "Customers from further a field where it's difficult to meet on site can email or phone; you will still receive top notch service." People can get a feel for the quality and workmanship J2 Homes provides by browsing through the showhome next to the company's office at 20 Tauranga Road, Waihi. The current showhome is from J2 Homes' Premier Range, P116.
Jason says offering three major types of builds gives customers plenty of scope to freely decide which one ticks all the boxes for them. The full contract home option means J2 Homes will fully manage and control the construction of a client's new home, including obtaining building consent. The three main items this option excludes are carpet, drapes/curtains and decking.
The transportable option involves relocating a home from J2 Homes' transportables yard in Waihi to the client's property. Here the house is finished to the gib-stopping stage and customers are able to paint the house themselves. The house is fully wired and plumbed, ready for services to be hooked up on site. "This is an excellent option for farmhouses or beach baches." With the kitset option the client takes control and manages the complete job.
"This is great for tradesmen already skilled in the housing industry."
All J2 Homes are fitted with quality Bosch Appliances.
The company has an array of plans that can be tailored to meet individual needs. "We are about keeping things simple, so please feel free to call in and see for yourselves."
