Today people building new homes need to know they are building with people that they can trust. Your builder's reputation and workmanship may speak for themselves. Unfortunately in today's climate this may not be enough. Sometimes things can and do go wrong.

J2 Home New Zealand have chosen a 7 year Homefirst guarantee that will fully protect home owners. What does this mean?

Full Contract

The guarantee covers all money paid during the construction period. It also provides for major structural defects for both materials and workmanship for 7 years from the date of possession, including full defects for the first 2 years. To add value to your home the Built-In Builder's guarantee can be transferred. It stays with the home and not the original owner.

Transportable

Again covers all money paid for the construction work while the house is located in J2 Homes yard in Waihi only. It does not cover work when the house has been transported to the owners site.

Kitset

The guarantee covers loss of deposit and any advanced pre-payments made. All your funds are 100% safe.
