Our Team
J2 Homes is owned by Jason and Jo Duckworth. Jason took the opportunity to create his own independent building company. His strength and ability in sales and marketing has been essential for the role of Project Manager at J2 Homes. Jason has actively been involved with new business in the local community. His knowledge and commitment makes J2 Homes the housing company to visit for all your building requirements.
Our salesman Calvin Hurne joined the J2 Homes team in late 2011. Calvin comes to us with expertise in window joinery having worked in this industry over 20 years. Calvin's role ensures the building process is a happy and productive one. If you are thinking about taking the first step, please feel free to give Calvin a call, He is here to help with any questions you may have.
Liam Roberts is our on-site Draughtsperson, who joined our team this year 2020. Liam allows immediate scheme plans and progress to happen while you can sit beside and watch, ensuring we are all on the right track from the start.
Helen Everson and Jo Duckworth are both administrators for J2 Homes ensuring the smooth day to day running of the business.
All suppliers, contractors and related specialist building associates contracting to J2 Homes are selected by Jason on their professionalism. In joining the our team they contract to Jason's commitment to you for honesty, reliability, and quality.

Our Builders
Our builders will build your new home in the Bay of Plenty, Waikato and Coromandel regions. Primarily our full contracts are built close by in Waihi and Waihi Beach. J2 Homes also has a building team that build our transportable homes in our yard here in Waihi.

J2 Homes Master Builders Guarantee
You need to know you are building with people that you can trust. Your builder's reputation and workmanship may speak for themselves. Unfortunately in today's climate this may not be enough. Sometimes things can and do go wrong.
J2 Homes have now joined MasterBuilders they will fully protect home owners. Number One in Building Guarantee in New Zealand What does this mean?
Full Build
The guarantee protects your financial investment during the construction period and will rectify structural defects, including both materials and workmanship, for ten years from the date of possession. Non structural defects are also covered for the first two years. The guarantee can be transferred to subsequent owners, giving peace of mind to purchasers and adding value to your home.
Transportable
The guarantee covers your financial investment while the house is being built by J2 Homes. Once the building has been "tied down" on the owner's site, the guarantee covers structural defects for 10 years, including non-structural defects for the first two years from possession. The guarantee does not cover damage caused during transport. If your contract with J2 Homes includes doing some work once the building is on site, the guarantee will also cover this work.
Kitset
The guarantee covers your deposit and pre-payments made in advance of receiving your components. All your funds are 100% safe.
